Since a new dub was produced due to a French-Canadian dub embargo that was set in place in 1987, this dub has never resurfaced and promptly been forgotten about. In 1989, a Finnish subtitled version called Kimba valkoinen leijona was distributed by Tamline Ky and released on VHS in Finland.
